Hi and welcome! My name is Amanda Schlossberg and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland. With more than a decade of clinical experience, I have been fortunate to work with a diverse array of patients, each bringing unique perspectives and challenges to the table. My therapeutic approach centers around establishing a strong and supportive relationship with my patients as the foundation for effective healing and growth. Recognizing that trust and openness evolve, I prioritize investing time in understanding the distinctive qualities of the individuals or couples under my care. By working collaboratively with my patients, together we can pinpoint personalized areas of focus for therapy.
As a therapist specializing in couples counseling, I focus on helping partners navigate and resolve a variety of relationship challenges. My expertise includes addressing communication issues, where couples struggle to express their needs and understand each other effectively, as well as intimacy concerns that affect emotional and physical connection. My work with couples extends to assisting with conflict resolution, helping them to develop healthier ways to manage disagreements and strengthen their bond.
